This 3-day course covers the foundation of theory, skill, technique and practice to execute 15 precise stretches from Lanna traditional medicine. The range of stretches presented in this course offers tools to effectively address any ailment of the structure and to encourage lasting change in the body. Practitioners in this course will learn when stretching is indicated, how to incorporate stretching into a treatment-specific session and receive guidance to work with skill and ease in every session.
In this course, students will learn:
- History and context of Lanna and Thai bodywork
- Anatomy of the body
- Assessment skills
- Palpation skills
- A variety of techniques, including when and how to apply them
- Effective client positioning
- Strong and safe body mechanics
- Indications and contraindications
Tuition includes all class learning materials.
