Mondays, April 23 – May 21 and June 11
5:30 – 7 PM
In this 6-week series taught by Jessica Dafni, participants will learn the basic tools of self-care from the perspective of traditional Thai medicine and Reusi Dat Ton, a comprehensive system including exercises, postures, breathing, self-massage and joint mobilization.
Together, we will explore the basic elements of Reusi Dat Ton and our daily habits, looking for doable ways to integrate consistent self-care into our lives on a daily basis with a view of the big picture.
At the end of our time together, students will know how to give themselves a full-body self-massage, be familiar with breathing techniques and exercises for strengthening and nourishing and have a plan for focusing on healthy daily habits.
The sixth session is intentionally spaced a few weeks out to serve as an opportunity to follow-up, refine and troubleshoot.
Class size is limited to just 8 students.
Comments from past participants:
“I came to this class for the physical “yoga,” but I learned so much more…It has changed the way I think about my day-to-day life.”
“I learned so much! I am now weaving what I learned into my regular yoga practice as well as throughout my day!”
