Based in a living medical tradition, personal wellness with Jessica Dafni offers lasting relief for physical ailments with care and respect for the whole person.
Since starting on this path in 2003, Jessica has developed a keen perception of the physical structure and its needs for balance—including the role of our daily habits and movement practices in wellness—allowing her to support a variety of people with a variety of conditions in living their best life.
While she has completed several professional programs and specialized training in Thailand, Argentina and the US, as a dedicated student and serious practitioner of her craft, Jessica’s work has benefited most from simply following the learning methods of the tradition in which she practices: pursuing a complete body of knowledge; studying with an experienced practitioner who can explain and exemplify the information; and gaining the personal experience necessary to realize its truth.
For this opportunity, and to all of her teachers, Jessica is deeply grateful.
Jessica has certifications from International Professional School of Bodywork (IPSB) in San Diego, California; the Soma Institute in Buckley, Washington; The Naga Center, LLC in Portland, Oregon; Asheville Yoga Center in Asheville, North Carolina; and Wells Yoga based in upstate New York.
Before professionally entering the wellness field, Jessica studied creative writing at the University of Maine at Farmington. Her writing has appeared in the California Journal of Oriental Medicine, Massage Magazine and other journals. She also publishes articles on this website.
